PAEA, PA Focus

PAEA: Learn more about the Physician Assistant Education Association, the only national organization representing PA educational programs. A directory of all PA Programs can be found through PAEA listed here.


PA Focus: PA focus is a blog and resource for people interested in learning more about the physician assistant career. It is also a helpful resource for those applying to PA school and current PA students.

  • CAPA Student Scholarships: Ray Dale Memorial Scholarship, Ruth Webb Minority Scholarship, Community Outreach Scholarship. 

  • PA Foundation: A national nonprofit organization that promotes better health and wellness by providing PAs and students with philanthropic opportunities and resources.

  • OSHPD: Learn about the California Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development. It is the leader in collecting data and disseminating information about California’s healthcare infrastructure.

  • NHSC: A scholarship and loan repayment program to primary care providers in eligible underserved areas.

  • NAMME: A national organization dedicated to action-oriented programs among national, state, and community stakeholders working to ensure racial and ethnic diversity in all of the health professions.

  • USC: Available primary care, family medicine and community medicine scholarship resources.

  • NIH: The National Institutes of Health is part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the nation’s medical research agency for making discoveries that improve health and save lives.

  • Navy Airforce (HPSP): Learn about how to apply for scholarships from the Air Force.
